Hire Period
The standard hire period is 7 days, i.e. Monday to Monday. If your skip is full prior to this, or prior to your scheduled collection date, please call or email to arrange an early collection if possible.
If you require an extension, you must notify us at least 1 business day before the scheduled collection. An extended hire fee (daily or weekly) will incur and is payable by credit card (over the phone) or cash to your driver on collection.
Delivery Times and Payment
Although Kwik Skips / Bonza Bins will attempt to deliver a skip within the timeframe requested by the customer, there are no guarantees for exact times. If you require a skip for early morning use, it is best to book delivery for the day prior.
We can offer a maximum of 60 minutes notice prior to delivery on request. If you are paying Cash On Delivery, please ensure money is ready for the driver as the skip will not be delivered unless paid in advance.
Bin Placement & Access
- Skips must remain at the delivery location and must not be removed.
- A minimum 3m height and width clearance is required from trees, buildings and fences for safe delivery and collection.
- Skips cannot be placed on roads or footpaths or obstruct traffic visibility without a council permit.
- Kwik Skips / Bonza Bins is not liable for property damage caused by skip placement as per customer instructions.
- Skips may scratch, mark or stain driveways.
- Fully loaded trucks can damage concrete kerbs etc. We advise using timber planks under skips to minimise damage (not supplied).
Loading Requirements
- Do not overload skips. Waste must remain below the top of the skip with no overhanging or protruding material.
- Overfilled skips will not be collected. A wasted trip fee will apply.
- If your skip has a ramp, it must be closed properly before collection.
